Henan, China officially banned the production and sale of non-degradable single-use plastic products on March 1, 2022.

On January 5, 2022, the Henan Provincial People's Government Order No. 209 announced the "Henan Province Urban Domestic Waste Classification Management Measures" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"), which are planned to be officially implemented on March 1, 2022 . Article 16 of the "Measures" is closely related to the daily life of the majority of residents. Its regulations prohibit the production, sale and use of non-degradable single-use plastic products in accordance with the law.
